There are not too many malls in New York City, as these are mostly located outside of the city and in nearby New Jersey. We included only the ones that are the easiest to get to and have the best value. We recommend planning a whole day for a mall visit (getting there, then exploring options, then trying it all on, then changing your mind, coming back, completing purchases, getting back to the hotel, exhausted but happy).
Malls are convenient because everything is in one place, there are usually places to have a bite and get some rest, convenient transportation (in most cases), and last but not least — a good price.
